Trendsetter's Revolution valves return to Interventek for 5-year recertification and upgrade.

Following five years of regular service, the open-water Revolution valve sets used by Trendsetter Engineering in their Trident #1 Light Well Intervention System will soon return to us for recertification and upgrade.

Our dual bore Revolution valve forms the core of the Lower Riser Package (LRP) and our single bore Revolution valve lies at the heart of the Emergency Disconnect Package (EDP), significantly contributing to the lightweight, compact nature of this game-changing Trident system. The valves have seen rigorous service over the last five years on extensive well access campaigns in Brazil and Angola.

Reflecting the maturity of our technology, our recertification activity continues to grow. Over the last two years we’ve received several of our in-riser Revolution valves back to the workshop for their five-yearly recertification and independent 3rd party endorsement. As an OEM, we’ve been proud to see these return in excellent condition given the service they’ve completed.
